Ms. Greene has summed up community service work as invaluable, indispensable, necessary and its worth is incalculable.  On August 31, 2020, Ms. Greene retired from the United States Probation Office, Richmond Division having served in the United States Government for over 22 years. Ms. Greene attended Virginia State University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is a member of the Chesterfield V.S.U. Alumni chapter.  Ms. Greene is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and she attends Christian Life Church in Chester, Virginia.  Ms. Greene declares her greatest inspiration comes from her biggest fan in life, her son.  She is the super proud mother of an exceedingly active, highly enthusiastic son named Donovan.

On January 15, 2001, Rhonda Greene was sworn to serve and protect the Constitution of the United States of America, as a United States Probation Officer for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division.  Ms. Greene was soon promoted and served in the capacity of Senior United States Probation Officer, Drug Treatment Specialist, for over 14 years. Ms. Greene entered the demanding profession of Federal Law Enforcement in 1998, where she began her government career working for the United States Department of Justice, Federal Prison System, in Fairton, New Jersey.  Before her employment with the United States Government, Ms. Greene worked for the Virginia Department of Corrections for 5 years.  In 2007, Ms. Greene became a Certified Substance Abuse Therapist, and throughout her 27 years of employment she has utilized her skills and abilities as a substance abuse therapist to help make a difference in the lives of those who struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. Ms. Greene's life experiences and challenges have fueled her passion for helping individuals strive for sobriety and recovery.  In addition to working in a very demanding career field, Ms. Greene volunteered and served on the District 19 Community Services Board and the Prince and Princess Board in Petersburg for several years.
